Start Your Morning in Tokyo at bricolage bread and co.

English

Hi, I’m Mac.

Today, I want to share one of my favorite spots in Tokyo.

For me, living a minimalist lifestyle isn’t just about cutting down on things or saving money. It’s about spending on experiences that matter. Most often, that means travel and food—and breakfast is no exception. One of the places I often visit to make the most of my mornings in Tokyo is Bricolage Bread and Co. in Roppongi.

Open from 7 a.m., with a Focus on Bread and Coffee

The café opens at 7 a.m. and really shows its dedication to bread and coffee. Just the smell of freshly baked bread in the morning air makes starting the day feel special.

This time, I ordered the avocado toast—simple but absolutely delicious 🥑.

The coffee comes from Fuglen, and it’s as good as expected. The aroma, the balance of bitterness and acidity, and how well it pairs with the toast make it the perfect start to a relaxing morning. I could easily linger here for a while, enjoying every sip.

Atmosphere and Crowd

The café itself has a bright, open atmosphere. Many international visitors drop by, giving it a little taste of an overseas café right in Tokyo. It’s usually busy throughout most of the day, so you might have to wait—but that’s a testament to how popular it is.

Takeout is Also Recommended

Takeout is an option too. Enjoying your bread and coffee at a nearby park or on a bench gives you a slightly different perspective on Tokyo mornings. With such high-quality bread and coffee, even eating outside is satisfying.

Minimalist living allows me to spend the money I save on experiences like this, which truly adds value to my life. If you want to enjoy a fulfilling morning in Tokyo, Bricolage Bread and Co. is definitely a spot to check out.
